When I was little, my mom made Christmas cookies at the beginning of December. She didn’t just make a dozen here or there. No, she made hundreds upon hundreds of homemade cookies. Later in the month, she and my dad would host a Christmas open house for all of the church members and attendees to come and celebrate Christ’s birth.
It’s been a while since I’ve shared our meal plan with you all! It’s about time I start doing this again because it is a new month and it’s almost time to get started making gingerbread men, snowflake cookies, and homemade candy canes.
So, my 10-year-old daughter and I are putting together a list of cookies we want to make this year. Most likely we will do cut-out sugar cookies, seven layer bars, and a homemade gingerbread house. But in order to have some order in our home we must keep a meal menu list going throughout the week – so we can be spontaneous about stuff that matters (like Christmas baking!)
