25 ways to celebrate advent with your family

The days are marching closer and closer to Christmas – and each year we look forward to taking a break from formal schooling as we spend time making warm and cozy memories with the children, other family, and friends.  I thought I would make a list of 25 ways we can celebrate during the Advent season.

We love playing board games, card games, memory, and some video games … but I also want to add in something special this time of year.  It feels there is a bit of magic in the air as this holiday draws close.  Perhaps we see love, hope, and joy during this season that is slightly muted the rest of the year.  In a hope to capture some of this treasure, I’ve made this list.  I hope you and your family have a wonderful Advent. Some of these are old favorites for us and others are new this year.
